Classrooms to clinics: teams take health services into schools, fight COVID-19

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — ABC6/FOX28 got a special look inside one of Nationwide Children's Hospital's multiple in-school health centers inside Columbus City Schools. There are also mobile clinics and partnerships with other districts.

"We can do blood work, strep tests, send flu tests, and COVID tests to the lab," nurse practitioner Ashley Hobson said.

This team felt during the pandemic, primary care like this was too key to cut. For some, this is the only medical care they might receive.
