The Ohio Alliance hosted its first annual conference, “2024 Annual School-Based Health Care Conference: Healthy Kids Learn Better,” on Thursday February 1, 2024.
 

Nearly 200 school-based health care partners joined the Ohio School-Based Health Alliance for a full-day conference and to kickoff national School-Based Health Care Awareness Month! The day was filled with learning, connections, and wonderful examples of the tremendous impacts school-based health care has on students, families, and communities across Ohio.

Participants started the day with an opening plenary on Advancing School-Based Health Care and Cross-System Partnerships with Dr. Olga Acosta Price, and closed with a panel on Working Together: Building School-Based Health Care and School District Partnerships. Workshop topics throughout the day included three tracks with sessions focused on Equity and social determinants of health; Comprehensive, integrated care; and Innovation, data, and technology-based solutions.
