The Ohio School-Based Health Alliance hosted its second annual full day conference, 2025 Annual School-Based Health Care Conference: Healthy Kids Learn Better, on January 30, 2025. More than 270 school-based health care partners joined the Ohio Alliance, participating in opening and closing plenary sessions, a diverse array of workshops, networking opportunities, and regional convenings. The day was filled with learning, connections, and wonderful examples of the tremendous impacts school-based health care has on students, families, and communities across Ohio. Workshop sessions focused on operations, workforce, and sustainability; partnership and innovation; integrated care and access; and social drivers of health and equity. Presentations for the opening plenary, workshop, and regional sessions can be viewed below.
Conference attendees were welcomed by Governor Mike DeWine, as he shared his commitment to school-based health care and ensuring Ohio's children are healthy and ready to learn. The Governor noted the Conference as an opportunity to share best practices and explore innovative ways to bring health care closer to the heart of Ohio's communities — schools.
